Progress in Migraine Treatment Actively Developing

GRANG JUNCTION, Co. – Although migraines are one of the most debilitating medical disorders in the world it would seem that in recent years more treatment options have been discovered. If you have ever suffered from the effects of a migraine you can testify to the debilitating side effects associated with this medical disorder.

According to Hans Christopher Diener and David W. Dodick, “The migraine is the third most prevalent medical disorder globally.” Making it obvious to see why treatment options are so important for individuals suffering from the disorder. From the use of Triptans to the combination of simvastatin and vitamin D3 there have been several treatment and prevention options that have proven to be tolerated well by patients when tested in clinical trials.

It is also important to note that there are many corporations participating in the research process and clinical trials focused on finding better treatment options for those who suffer from chronic migraines. Oxford University Press, WebMD, and Synergy are just a few of the corporations that have been awarded honoraria for their participation in the clinical trials.

While further research is needed, with continued research perhaps one day there may be a cure for the migraine altogether.
